Consignor Information

Welcome Treasure Hunters, Bargain Shoppers ... and Smiling, Happy People of all sorts !!!

Welcome Consignors!
Thank you for choosing Digs as your consignment partner, such an honor deserves our best!
Consigning here is easy, and you can view all your activity on line at: www.myresaleweb.com

The most important steps to assure an easy and happy partnership:

1. A printed guide is available; it's best to read the guide before bringing in items for consignment.
2. Have complete knowledge and understanding of your responsibilities in consigning before you sign the contract. We do not change the rules.
3. Ask questions, we are here to help. We want you to be a successful consignor.

In short:  Consignment period is 110 days, if it last that long. Consignment items automatically reduce throughout the consignment period. You get 50% of the selling price. We want to get the best possible price for your items!

Payouts are made every/other month (even months). Pick your check up in the store on or after the 10th of each payout month. Example: April 10th consignor checks are printed for balances through March 31, and include an accounting of your sales. We don't print checks for less than $11.00; you may use this balance as credit towards a purchase or take a cash payout on pay day.  Payout months: Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct., Dec. Checks are valid for 6 months; we do not reissue invalid checks.

There is a $4.00 account maintenance fee deducted each payout (only deducted if you are receiving a check payout.)
This is only $2.00 per month for complete accounting, print, and you may view your account activity online.

Remember it is your responsibility to know your consignment end dates, and to retrieve your own unsold items by the end date. We do not notify you of forfeit dates or sales. Expired consignments are automatically store property . You may not take back forfeited items.

At times we are too full to accommodate consignments, it's a good idea to check first.

Consignment terms, hours, and items sold vary at both stores. Check each individual store. You may have separate accounts at both stores as well.

We do not take in any consignment items Dec. 15th - Jan.2nd. Only furniture items will be considered at that time.  Happy Holidays!

Important things to remember (or most often forgotten!)  Most asked:

Payout for sold items is done by check, every/other month for the previous months sales (even months). Pick your check up at the store after the 10th of each payout month.

We do not notify you of payout, sold items, or expired consignment.  It is your responsibility to retrieve any unsold items before the end of consignment period.  Expired consignments become store property and can be sold, disposed of, or donated.  It is very important that you read and understand your consignment contract.  Remember to allow yourself time to retrieve your unsold items, and if possible, bring boxes or bags if needed. Check your end dates and account activity at www.myresaleweb.com  To view your account: Click on our store: Digs Consignment Studio or Digs Dixie, you will be prompted for ID# and last name. We can check your account for you if need be, please ask!

Remember: You are our partner, we want to sell your stuff. At times you may have to wait for the paying customer at the counter. We hope your wait is not long but our customers come first. They may even be buying your stuff!

Drop & Run:
Established consignors leave your things, identify with your consignor number (tape your consignor number to your items, boxes or bags). Sign in on the consignor log in pad. (it's on the consignor counter) No more than 10 items per drop off.

Leave any special instructions or pricing, go! You can view your inventory on line, or if need be; come back at a convieneint time to pick up an inventory list. Allow us a couple of days to get them into inventory.

Please take the time to clean and check for damage before dropping off, remember any damaged or unacceptable items will be disposed of without notice. Bedding, toss pillows, fabric items, etc.: We can only sell these items if they are of the highest quality! Fabric must be clean and in excellent condition. Style wise, generally not more than three years old. please mark bedding and drapes with size before dropping off, also contain linens in bags or with ribbon.

'To Be or Not To Be' list may  change at any time . We must use our customers guidelines when we determine what will sell, and what items we can accommodate at any given time. We owe it to you and our customers to maintain a well organized, clean and pleasant place to shop!  All of your items may not sell, but most do by the end of the consignment period. You should be patient when consigning, you are free to pick up your items anytime during the consignment period; however there is a fee of $1.00 per item if returned to you before the first mark down (45 days).

We will use our discretion, and try our best to post information, and inform you of any changes.  Always feel free to call us if you are unsure about what to bring in.
